The Nearity A40 linear array microphone utilises a 24 MEMS microphone array to capture clear audio in meeting spaces. It covers a pickup range of 8 m x 8 m, ensuring consistent voice capture across the room. Key audio processing features include 8 deep sidelobe beamforming, AI noise suppression, and adaptive pickup beams. The device supports full-duplex operation with echo cancellation and automatic gain control for professional call quality.

Power is delivered via Power over Ethernet using a CAT6 UTP cable, allowing up to 8 units to be daisy-chained. The white unit measures 351.4 mm in length and can be suspended, wall-mounted, or placed on a desktop bracket. It includes two RJ45 ports for network connectivity. The package contains the A40 microphone, a 10 m Cat6 UTP cable, and an accessory package for installation.
