The Maxhub Sensor Box is an environmental monitoring accessory for interactive flat panels. It detects motion, temperature, humidity, PM2.5, and VOC levels, while supporting NFC data exchange. Smart-Boards supplies this device for educational and corporate sites across the GCC and Africa.

This accessory enhances room awareness by providing real-time environmental data. It measures PM2.5 concentrations up to 1000 µg/m³ and VOC levels up to 65000 ppb. The integrated PIR sensor detects motion within a 7-meter range at an 80-degree angle. Temperature readings are accurate within ±3 °C, covering 0 to 45 °C. Humidity sensing operates between 30 and 80%.

The unit connects to the panel via a USB cable and draws 5 V / 0.5 A. It supports NFC ISO/IEC 14443 and 15693 protocols for reader/writer functions over 2 cm. Measuring 206 x 69 x 31.7 mm and weighing 183 g, it screws to the panel's bottom or lower-left bracket. The package includes one NFC card for immediate use.
