Gas assistance is what makes a 25 kg screen feel weightless through a height range of 370 mm to 660 mm, and it holds position without creeping downward over months of use. Tilt is unusually generous at plus 60 to minus 20 degrees, swivel is plus or minus 90 degrees and rotation plus or minus 90 degrees. VESA support runs from 75x75 mm through the rectangular 100x200 and 200x100 patterns up to 200x200 mm, which is what large panels actually use. The detachable plate hangs on the monitor first so one person can lift and click a heavy display into place, and both a clamp (10-45 mm tops) and a grommet mount (10-40 mm) are supplied.

1. What is the VSYS VMAD-C012?
It is a heavy-duty desk arm for one large monitor. A gas spring carries screens from 24" to 57" weighing up to 27 kg, with a 370 mm to 660 mm height range, wide tilt, swivel and rotation, and VESA support up to 200x200 mm.
2. Is it compatible with my monitor?
Yes - if the screen is 24" to 57", weighs no more than 27 kg flat or 22 kg curved, and uses a VESA pattern between 75x75 mm and 200x200 mm, it will fit. Tell us your monitor model when you request a quote and we will confirm the exact fit.
3. Why are the flat and curved weight limits different?
A curved panel puts its mass further from the mounting plate and generates more leverage on the arm, so the safe working load drops from 27 kg to 22 kg. Use the curved figure if your screen is curved, even if the manufacturer quotes a lower weight.
4. What is the advantage of a gas spring over a mechanical spring?
Two things at this weight class: a smoother, more even lift across a long 370 mm to 660 mm travel, and better resistance to gradual sag. Coil-spring arms are excellent up to around 9 kg; above that a gas cylinder is the right engineering answer.
5. Can one person install a 25 kg monitor on it?
Yes, and that is what the detachable VESA plate is for. Fix the plate to the back of the screen while it is flat on the desk, then lift once and click the assembly onto the arm. Make sure the desk itself is solid - the clamp fits tops from 10 mm to 45 mm.

9. Can it rotate a big screen into portrait?
Rotation is plus or minus 90 degrees, so portrait is mechanically possible. On a 49" or larger ultrawide it is rarely practical - the screen becomes taller than the user - so in that size class the rotation is more often used for fine levelling than for a full portrait flip.
